In the long river of Chinese tea history, there is a single leaf that carries the heaviest nostalgia and the most resilient wanderlust. That is Liu Bao tea. Setting off from the rugged, mist-shrouded mountains of Wuzhou, Guangxi, it journeyed along the winding “Tea Boat Ancient Road,” heading all the way south, crossing oceans to reach Nanyang (Southeast Asia). In those damp, sultry tin mines and rubber plantations, a bowl of rich, dark, and mellow Liu Bao tea did more than just dispel the humid heat for the migrants—it comforted an unforgettable, aching homesickness deep within their souls.
This is a story of “departure and taking root.”
And this very same story is one that we, Chin Bee Tea, have been walking, steadily and unhurriedly, for decades.
Through decades of alternating winter chills and summer heats, we have tended to our charcoal fires on this foreign soil, taking over the mantle of this tea that carries the weight of history. We have watched generations of tea lovers grow from youth to silver hair, and we have watched the Liu Bao tea become gentler and more refined through the maturation of time. Over the past decades, we have walked with steady and firm steps. In the decades to come, and for the long years beyond, Chin Bee Tea will continue to walk alongside everyone, journeying onward.
